John Elphinstone
(1722-1785)

John Elphinstone was born in 1722 and died in London on 28 Apr 1785. He served in the Royal Navy and Imperial Russian Navy.

He married Amelia Warburton on 23 Oct 1750.

Sons who served as naval officers: John Elphinstone, Robert Philip Rodolph Elphinstone, Samuel William Elphinstone and Thomas Elphinstone
