Peregrine Bowen (d 1848)Peregrine Bowen died in London (Giltspur Street Compter) on 23 Feb 1848 after he hanged himself in his cell. He served in the Royal Navy. Notes: • As Midshipman on Prince, 98 (Captain Richard Grindall), he took part in the Battle of Trafalgar (21 Oct 1805).
• Held in Giltspur Street Compter after he was charged with forging the will of his brother, William Musgrave Bowen.
